Day 2 – This is going to be tough

I haven’t told my husband that I am blogging all of this journey, but I need a place to talk about everything and I figure this as good a place as any.

We went out to lunch today at a local brewery to pick up some of our member beer. It was a great lunch and everythign seemed to be going smoothly until we got to the outlet to purchase new jeans.

I had a melt down. Not only am I trying to get us out of debt, I’m trying to get rid of clutter in our house and drop about 100 pounds. Overwhelmed is an understatement and it all came to a head standing trying on jeans at Banana Republic. These jeans were $120 and 40 % off, so not terrible but between their largest size barely fitting and looking at the price, I lost it.

I’m not proud of it, but sometimes you just hit a boiling point.

If anything, this outing has given me more momentum than ever to move foward with my goals. I really feel like my life depends on it.

Progress today: uploading my first receipt to Ibotta! I got $4 back, overtime this is only going to get better!
